henna body art is a great way to bring that extra something to your special occasion. your friends, family, and guests will treasure their henna design for days and even weeks after the day has passed, reminding them of good times shared and celebrations cherished.
henna (also called mehndi) is an art form traditional to the middle east, northern africa, and southeast asia. the paste is made from the powdered leaves of the henna plant mixed with water, molasses (just a bit, for the silky consistency), and essential oils that encourage a dark stain. mehndi only stains the dead layers of the skin, and so is a safe and natural way to adorn yourself without committing to the pain and permanence of an ink tattoo. not only that, but henna smells good, is good for your skin, and makes people smile!
